Red Bush Tea - Preparation

Red Bush can be served hot or chilled.

Other methods to prepare Red Bush:
This method will produce Red Bush concentrate that can be stored in the refrigerator and used to make Red Bush iced tea anytime.

Replacing water with concentrated Red Bush when baking cakes or pastry will result in a reddish color, delicious flavor and the benefit of antioxidants.

Add 4 - 6 oz of loose Red Bush per quart of water
For tea bags use 10 - 20 tea bags per quart of water 
Stir Red Bush into cold water and bring water to boil. 
Lower temperature and simmer for 10 to 15 Min.
Cool it down, strain and store it in a closed container
Red Bush can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.

To make Iced Red Bush from concentrate just add ice and or cold water (filtered water is preferred)

Red Bush is a very delicious beverage ..

There are several ways to make Red Bush Tea.
First , the simplest is to use a tea bag.

Preparation:
Boil water
Insert 1 tea bag per cup
Steep for 3 - 10 min

Loose Red Bush is very easy to prepare:
Simply boil water in an open pot, add Red Bush
1 tea spoon per 6 oz of water.
If stronger liquor is desired add 1 table spoon per 6 oz. of water. If the tea is too strong simply dilute it with water.
Unlike black or green tea Red Bush does not taste     bitter when steeped for extended time
